If so, Winchester Regional Airport is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician to be responsible for maintaining and repairing all airport equipment and facilities. From keeping our grounds pristine to ensuring airfield lighting is functioning perfectly, your work will be crucial to the safe and smooth operation of our airport. You'll also be operating a range of equipment, from lawn mowers to snowplows, and tackling a variety of tasks like minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.

Essential Functions What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As an Airport Maintenance Technician, you will:
- Maintain and Improve: Keep our grounds looking sharp by mowing, weeding, and pruning.
- Operate Equipment: Handle everything from garden tools to heavy machinery like tractors and snow removal equipment.
- Airfield Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and upkeep of all airfield lighting and facilities.
- General Repairs: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all airport buildings, equipment, and vehicles.
- Safety First: Understand and follow all safety procedures, especially around runways and taxiways.
- Be a Team Player: Step in to assist with airport emergencies and provide support wherever needed, including our Flight Line Technician crew.
Typical Qualifications What We're Looking For: - Ideally, you have 1-2 years of experience in maintenance, construction or a similar field.
- Must be willing to obtain NATA Safety 1st certification after employment.
- Possess a valid Driver's License is required. Class B CDL driver's license is preferred.
